12-Metre Heavy-Duty Automatic Boom Barrier

The AETS DC ULTRA 120 is a super long-span automatic boom barrier developed for very wide access points where standard barriers are not sufficient. It is specifically designed for railway interfaces, ports, logistics yards, industrial zones, and mixed-traffic control areas.

Its reinforced dual-arm support design ensures exceptional structural stability over long distances, delivering high torque, strong wind resistance, and long-term durability while minimizing arm deflection, vibration, and mechanical fatigue during continuous operation


▪ Modular Mechatronic Architecture

The barrier adopts a side-mounted modular drive system with a compact internal layout. This design allows faster installation, simplified servicing, and easy access to key components, reducing downtime during maintenance.


▪ High-Accuracy Manufacturing Process

All mechanical parts are produced using CNC-assisted precision forming and controlled assembly processes, ensuring consistent quality, accurate alignment, and extended service life across all production units.


▪ Multi-Stage Gear Drive System

A high-precision multi-stage reduction gearbox provides smooth torque transfer, low mechanical loss, and stable performance under heavy load. The system is engineered for long-term reliability in harsh outdoor environments, supporting operation in low-temperature conditions down to –30°C.


▪ Industrial-Grade DC Brushless Motor

The ULTRA 120 is powered by a high-efficiency DC brushless motor, offering:

  • Quiet and vibration-free movement
  • Consistent speed under varying load conditions

This motor technology significantly increases endurance for high-cycle applications.

An electronic position sensing system replaces traditional mechanical limit switches, allowing automatic arm positioning, smooth acceleration/deceleration, and precise stop control for safer and more stable operation.


▪ Optimized Arm Balancing Mechanism

The barrier uses a reinforced multi-link balancing structure, allowing fine adjustment of arm balance to suit different boom configurations (telescopic or foldable), ensuring smooth motion and reduced stress on internal components.


▪ Flexible Installation Configuration

The boom direction can be easily reconfigured on site (left-hand or right-hand installation), providing maximum flexibility for different lane layouts and civil constraints.

▪ Intelligent Speed & Motion Control

Opening and closing speeds can be individually adjusted, with programmable soft start and soft stop movement to reduce mechanical stress and ensure smooth, stable barrier operation.


▪ Configurable Limit & Direction Settings

The barrier supports adjustable arm limit angles and allows quick on-site switching between left-hand and right-hand installation, simplifying adaptation to different lane layouts.


▪ Emergency Manual Operation

In the event of a power interruption, the system provides a manual release mechanism allowing the boom to be operated safely and smoothly.


▪ Secure Remote Control System

Supports learning-code remote transmitters with encrypted frequency technology, offering strong anti-copy protection and reliable long-range operation.


▪ Safety Sensor Integration

Dedicated input terminals support:

  • Infrared safety photocells
  • Vehicle loop detectors
  • Microwave / radar anti-collision sensors

These inputs ensure reliable obstacle detection and enhanced user safety.


▪ Multi-Command I/O Control

The controller supports independent open, close, and stop signal inputs, enabling easy integration with access control systems, guard panels, or building management systems.


▪ Traffic Flow Counting Function

An integrated vehicle counting (fleet management) function supports traffic statistics and operational monitoring in controlled access zones.


▪ Visual Signaling Outputs

The system provides output interfaces for:

  • Boom LED lighting
  • External warning lamps
  • Red / Green traffic lights

Improving visibility and safety in all lighting conditions.


▪ Communication Interface

Equipped with an RS-485 communication port for integration with parking management systems, centralized control platforms, or third-party automation software.


▪ Intelligent Delay & Safety Reversal

Programmable delay-drop timing and automatic reverse function protect vehicles and reduce impact risk when obstacles are detected.


▪ Power-Failure Auto Lift (Optional)

When connected to an energy storage module, the barrier can automatically raise the boom during power failure, ensuring safe evacuation or emergency access.


▪ Fire & Emergency System Interface

Supports fire alarm linkage input, enabling automatic boom lifting during emergency events, with optional collision alarm output for enhanced site safety.


▪ Backup Power Compatibility

Designed to operate with an external 24V DC battery backup system, maintaining barrier functionality during power outages.
